GANDERBAL, DECEMBER 21 (PTK): On day two of Good Governance Week Campaign series of activities witnessed across Ganderbal district to improve public services delivery and addressing people’s issues.
Grievance redressal camp was held in Kangan Sub-Division during which District Development Council Chairperson, NuzhatIshfaq listened the issues and grievances of the people in presence of DDC Members, PRIs and district officers.
The people of Kangan Sub-Division apprised the Chairperson about various issues including augmentation of power and water supply, better health care facilities, improvement of roads and other demands of public importance.
The camp was attended by ADDC Ganderbal, PirMuzafar, SDM Kangan, CPO, ACP, CMO and other district officers.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Chairperson highlighted the purpose of celebrating Good Governance week and gave necessary instructions to the Officers regarding disposal of grievances raised in a time bound manner.
ADDC Ganderbal while speaking on the occasion said that district administration has chalked out detailed plans of the activities to be held during celebration of Good Governance week to redress public grievances and improve service delivery mechanisms so that people are benefited at grass roots level.:-PTK.
