Top LeT militant Saifullah killed in Harwan encounter, 3 Pakistani militants killed within 33 days in Srinagar city: IGP Kashmir
Srinagar, 19 Dec (PTK): Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar on Sunday said that a top pakistani militant affiliated with proscribed militant outfit Lashkar-i-Toiba was killed in an encounter at Harwan Srinagar in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to Press trust of Kashmir (PTK), Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said through a tweet on official twitter handle “Kashmir Zone Police” that a top pakistani militant affiliated with proscribed militant outfit Lashkar-i-Toiba identified as Saifulla alias Abu Khalid alias Shawaz, resident of Karachi (Pakistan) was killed in an encounter at Harwan area of Srinagar city in wee hours of Sunday .
He infiltrated in 2016 & was active in general area of Harwan and involved in several crimes, IGP adds.
In another tweet, IGP Kashmir said that “03 #Pakistani militants killed in #SrinagarCity within 33days. They were involved in several crimes including attacks on Police/SFs & civilian killings. It shows that Pakistan is hell-bent to disturb peace in Valley especially in Srinagar City.” (PTK)
