Mehbooba, Omar condemns Zewan Srinagar attack

Srinagar, 13 Dec (PTK) : Former J&K chief minister and National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Monday strongly condemned the Zewan militant attack where two cops succumbed to their injuries while leaving twelve others wounded.

According to Press trust of Kashmir (PTK), Omar Abdulla condemns Zewan Srg attack and tweets on his official twitter handle that “Terrible news of a terror attack on a police bus on the outskirts of Srinagar. I unequivocally condemn this attack while at the same time send my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased & prayers for the injured.”

Meanwhile Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehboob Mufti in a tweet said “Terribly sad to hear about the Srinagar attack in which two policemen were killed. GOIs false narrative of normalcy in Kashmir stands exposed yet there has been no course correction. My condolences to the bereaved families.”

Notably, Two policemen were killed and 12 others sustained injuries after suspected militants opened fired at the vehicle of 9th battalion Indian Reserve Police (IRP) at Zewan area of Srinagar city this evening. (PTK)
