Two militants killed in ongoing Pulwama Encounter
Srinagar, 01 Dec (PTK) : Two unidentified militants have been killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and government forces in Qasbayar area of South kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday .
An police official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that two militants have been killed in the ongoing Qasbayar encounter, however identity of the militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier a joint team of Police, army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area on specific information about the presence of militants.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering of an encounter.
Meanwhile Kashmir zone police also tweeted an update of Pulwama Encounter that 02 militants killed. Identification & affliation being ascertained. #Search going on. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice. (PTK).
