Encounter breaks out in Pulwama village
Srinagar, 01 Dec (PTK) : A pre-dawn encounter broke out between security forces and militants in Qasbayar area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Qasbayar following credible inputs of presence of Militants in the area .
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them,which was retaliated triggering off an encounter.
Meanwhile Kashmir zone police also informed through a tweet that Encounter has started at #Qasbayar area of #Pulwama. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice (PTK)
