Army organises blood donation camp in Gund area of Ganderbal district

Ganderbal, 26 Nov (PTK) : The Wussan kangan army Battalion  of 34 AR on Friday

 

organised a blood donation camp with the aim ‘ Donate Blood and Save Life’.

According to Press trust of Kashmir (PTK), officials said that as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mohatsav and to mark the occasion of Constitution Day/ National Law Day, a Blood Donation Camp was organised by Wusan Battalion on friday.

 

The army battalion medical team alongwith doctors and paramedical staff from SMHS Government Medical College, Srinagar. The camp witnessed a footfall of unit personnel including 5 Riflewomen, civilians and CRPF personnel wherein a total of 103 Blood Units were donated to save precious lives.

 

Meanwhile locals of Gund kangan praised the Indian Army for organising the event. Such events increases the bonhomie between Indian Army and the local Awaam, the official adds. (PTK).
