Wildlife officials captured bear in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, 24 Nov (PTK) : A wild bear was captured alive by wildlife officials in manigam village of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.

An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that some locals of manigam spotted a wild bear roaming in the area and accordingly informed the concerned police and wildlife department about it.

Added that a team of wildlife officials visited the area and captured the wild bear alive on Wednesday morning .

Locals told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that the wild bear was roaming in the area after which they informed the wild life officials, who dealt with the wild animal professionally.

Meanwhile the bear was later shifted to Dachigam National Park, wildlife officials told PTK.
