Repeal of three farm laws show despotic authoritarianism; Neronian tyranny cannot continue forever.
Modi Govt must similarly undo the historic blunder of August 5; reverse illegal, unconstitutional abrogations of Articles 370 and 35A.
Srinagar, 19th November: Senior Awami Itehad Party Leader Sheeban Ashai today congratulated the farmers community of India, conscious citizens, activists for their indomitable spirit and unswerving resolve in securing a victory over the despotic Modi regime. Ashai congratulated people of India and termed it as a victory for the courageous, righteous citizens who’ve selflessly for last twelve months braved harsh weather and excesses of Govt agencies. Ashai saluted the spirit and valiance of every person associated with farmers movement for their firm resolve and conviction. They have shown entire world that if one perseveres with unyielding steadfastness and determined resolve peacefully; democratically, even the worst of regimes have to bow down before people’s wishes. Any elected Government anywhere in the world no matter how strong cannot ram down its arbitrary decisions down people’s throats indefinitely.
Ashai asserted that there is a big lesson for entire Kashmiri nation in the farmers struggle; post 5th August entire Kashmiri political structure has been decimated; Stalwarts of Kashmiri political resistance are still under incarceration or house detentions, basic rights of people of Kashmir have been usurped. In the current scenario, situation demands a strong; peaceful-political resistance from entire Jammu And Kashmir for revoking the unconstitutional, undemocratic manoeuvres of 5th August 2019. Ashai also urged all political parties across ideologies to build common consensus, work with indefatigable purposefulness taking along common masses towards achieving goal of securing back what all has been snatched for people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He added, “We not only lost our constitution; our flag, but also our basic rights on that black day when putting all principles of parliamentary democracy to winds Articles 370 and 35A were illegally, unconstitutionally abrogated. GOI must understand Article 370 determines its genesis from very instrument of accession that India swears by at world forums; and by nullifying that very Article GOI has awfully isolated itself globally. In absence of Article 370 current rule in J&K is subjected to the status of an illegal occupation; foreign control over people of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir”.
Ashai advised people of Jammu and Kashmir to take a lesson from peaceful; earnest struggle of Indian farmers for their just rights and persevere for reversal of illegal, arbitrary undemocratic abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A.(PTK).
