TRF Commander among five militants killed in two separate encounters in Kulgam
Srinagar, 17 Nov (PTK): Five militants including a TRF commander have been killed in two separate encounters in pombay and Gopalpora villages in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday evening, officials said .
An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that five militants killed in two separate gunfights, raged in Gopalpora and Pombay villages of Kulgam district this evening.
Earlier 9 RR of Indian Army, JK Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a cordon and search operation in two separate villages of Kulgam district following credible inputs of militants movement in the area and during searches contacts established with militants at both villages.
He adds that during the exchange of fire, two militants including top commander of TRF outfit identified as Afaq Sikander were killed in Gopalpora encounter and three militants were killed in pombay village of kulgam District , while further operation was in progress in the area .(PTK)
