Ramban April 22 (PTK) A heavy hailstorm has caused damage to orchards in Gool Ramban area of Jammu division on Thursday.
According to PTK, Reporter ,Locals said that a severe hailstorm this morning in Sub-Division Gol caused severe damage to orchards.

They said that although the fruit trees had flowered very well this year and the orchardists had hoped for good fruits, the heavy hailstorm today dashed the hopes of the landlords.
Pertinently the Gool area is similar to Kashmir in terms of weather conditions and produces high quality apples and walnuts.
Locals said that horticulture department isn’t cooperating well with the local growers. (PTK)
