SGR March, 24 (PTK) A delegation of Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) led by its President Dr Nisar ul Hassan today met newly appointed Director Health Services Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather in his office chamber at Bemina Srinagar.
“We are hopeful that the new director will end sufferings of patients and will bring accountability in the system,” DAK President said.
“We hope he will rebuild trust and strengthen the bond between doctors and patients which is the most important component of patient care.’
Spokesperson DAK Dr Riyaz Ahmad Dagga stressed on implementation of transfer policy of doctors as the violation of policy is taking heavy toll on patient care.
“Influential doctors are given choicest postings and they remain on their places of choice for decades, and voiceless suffer” (PTK)
