AAwantipora Mar 04 (PTK) :Acting tough against the drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
Police party of Police Post Reshipora on Naka duty arrested one drug peddler when the arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances at Kawani Crossing Awantipora.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as:
Ghulam Qadir Malik S/O Ghulam Nabi Malik“` *R/O Tahab Pulwama*
“`500 grams of Charas( in shape of sticks) was recovered from the possession of arrested persons.
Case vide FIR number“` *29/2021* “`under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt strictly as per law.` (PTK)
