Srinagar March, 04 (PTK) In order to check the adherence to Covid SOPs in schools both private or government, a 4 tier committee has been constituted.
An order issued by Director School Education Kashmir reads that in order to ensure the adherence to Covid SOPs in schools both government and private a 4 tier committee has been constituted.
Divisional level monitoring team includes Mr Aabid Hussain for Srinagar and Ganderbal, Muzamil Maqbool for Budgam, Bilal Khurshid for South Kashmir and Shamsudin Bhat for North Kashmir
The district level monitoring team includes Chief education officer/ deputy chief education officer/ DEPO.
Cluster/ complex level monitoring team includes Principal HSS/HM high schools and zonal level monitoring team includes ZEO/BRC/CRC.
Besides these teams, DIETs along with the DRGs shall also formulate monitoring teams.
The monitoring teams shall report daily as per the format both in online and offine mode and shall observe the following protocol in Schools
a. Frequent cleanliness & disinfection of school infrastructure & equipment: proper waste mangement, wearing of mask and maintenance of hand hygiene by student and teachers, Maintaining of Physical distance of 2 Metre by students and teachers at all places in the school, presence of Hand washing stations, separate toilet facilities Soaps and Sanitaers in the school, Formulation af Covid Task Teams (comprising of Teachers & volunteer students) in schools,
Stagering time table/odd even mode/flexible/reduced time table of student attendance in case of high enrolment schools, banning of congregation in schools, Discouragement of sharing of student’s belongings, meals etc, sanitisaton af Schcol Tansport and maintain physical distance and other Covid SOPs during
cammuting af students, Ensuring mental welbeing of Students, the order reads.
A format of all the above mentioned things will be made and committees will have to write answer in yes or no whether all these SOPs are being followed or not. (PTK)
