Train services resume in J&K after 11 months
Srinagar Feb 21 (PTK) :The train services resumed on Banihal-Baramulla section partially from Monday after remaining suspended for around 11 months.
The first train departed from Baramulla at 9:10 am and the second train from Banihal at 11:25 am.
Both the trains operated as per schedule, Chief Area Manager Northern Railways in Srinagar, Saqib Yousuf said.
He hoped the number of trains will be increased this summer with more attractions on offer.
The authorities had suspended train services across Kashmir valley on March 19, 2020, after covid-19 cases were found in J&K. (PTK)
