Congress wins VC post in Kishtwar, independent wins in Ramban
Srinagar Feb 18 (PTK) :The candidates from Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC)gained District Development Council (DDC) chairperson posts in Kishtwar and Ramban district on Thursday.

Officials said that NC candidate Puja Devi in Kishtwar bagged eight votes and won the election for Chairman while Congress candidate Saima Lone was elected as Vice Chairman.
They said that NC candidate Shamshad Begum got eleven votes and registered a thumping win and Rabiya Beigh, an independent candidate emerged victorious for the post of Vice Chairman in Ramban
Elections in these two districts were adjourned due to lack of quorum. (PTK)
