PDP Holds Protest March Against Price Hike, property tax in Jammu
Srinagar Feb 17 (PTK) :Peoples Democratic Party on Wednesday protested against hike in fuels and property tax and demanded its immediate rollback
The Jammu unit of the party today took out a protest march in the city, raising slogans against BJP government for hiking fuel prices every week.
Protesters led by district president Jammu Ranjeev Sharma demanded from the government to rollback petrol prices, keeping in view the already high prices of other commodities.”We demand an immediate rollback of the petrol prices.
The hike is totally unjust and needs to be revoked,” he said, adding that they will also fight against property tax imposed by the government.
The party blamed the BJP government for the unprecedented hike.”BJP government is entirely responsible for this hike, it is because of their wrong policies that people of this country are suffering,” he said.
He said that prices are being hiked and planes are being sold every day but no attention is being given towards unemployment. (PTK)
