Traffic suspended on Sgr-Jmu NH in Ramban

Srinagar Feb 09 (PTK) : The authorities on Tuesday temporarily closed the Srinagar- Jammu National Highway due to landslides at Marog in Ramban district.

Officials said due to landslides at Marog the traffic movement has been suspended temporarily on the highway.

Officials said that the efforts are on to ensure early restoration of traffic as the agencies concerned have pressed men and machinery on job to clear the vital road. (PTK)

Temperatures continues to remain below zero in Kashmir Mercury improved further across Kashmir even as the minimum temperatures remained below sub-zero level across the Valley, the weatherman said on Tuesday. A meteorological department official said that the mercury increased by nearly a degree Celsius in Srinagar, settling at minus 1.2°C against the previous night’s 2.0°C.
