Delhi Feb, 05 (PTK) Kulgam police on Friday arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) from Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi, officials said.
They said that Muneeb Sofi from Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district was working for Pakistani militant, Waleed Bhai who was killed in an encounter at Kulgam last year.
“Kulgam police #arrested a wanted top OGW of JeM #terror outfit Munib Sofi of Bijbehara from Indira Gandhi International #Airport, #NewDelhi who deported today from Qatar. He was working for Pakistani #terrorist Waleed Bhai who was killed in an #encounter at #Kulgam last year,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted
It is pertinent to mention here that family of Muneeb Sofi who is resident of Kanelwan Bijbehara on 18 October 2020 have filed a missing report and have mentioned that they lost contact with their son who had went to Qatar for work. (PTK)
