Katra Jan 19 (PTK):Two 13 year old children named Krishna and Deya who were missing from Bari Brahamana last evening have been found in Katra.
The news was spread through Media and Police did continuous search. An army officer, Shiban Mohtan who’s currently posted in Bishnah and was travelling from Katra, found the two kids.
According to him, he saw the kids on live video and identified them. He then contacted the Media house and Police. Within no time, action was taken and the higher officials of Samba District Police Police safely got the kids from Katra to their house.
Both of kids had gone to attend their tuition class along with their younger sibling, however didn’t return home. The family found one child’s tuition bag in the adjacent lane. They informed the Police and investigation started. Higher officials of Bari Brahmana Police- SHO, SSP and SGPO took immediate actions.
A higher Police official said “We got the news through PCR around 7 pm last evening. We talked to the parents and asked about the atmosphere of the family. After many discussions, we got the idea that the kids were going towards Katra. We informed the SHO of Katra through PCR about the missing kids and sent their pictures.
Also, strict checking was applied on all the check posts and Nakas. SHO and SGPO ma’am and I – we all started working on the case in our own ways. As we were about to leave for Katra, we got the information that the kids have been found. So we went there and brought them back safely.”
“Initially we suspected it was kidnapping but later found that the children had planned a visit to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi,” police said. (PTK)
