SRINAGAR, (PTK): In the wake of the Pulwama attack exactly a month ago, DSport had blacked out on the coverage of Pakistan Super League (PSL). But earlier on Sunday (March 11), the channel resumed coverage of the fourth edition of the tournament which has now entered a decisive phase.
The fourth season of PSL was launched in the UAE, but after an array of 26 matches, the last-leg of the six-team tournament has been shifted to Karachi following a stellar home success last season.
After the Pulwama attack that had claimed the lives of 44 CRPF personnel at the Kashmir Valley on February 14, DSport had stopped the broadcast of PSL three days later. “We’ve suspended the broadcast,” a top channel official had told Mumbai Mirror on February 17. Following their footsteps, Indian broadcaster Reliance IMG had pulled out as producers of the PSL.
