SRINAGAR, MAR 13 (PTK): Chairman Kashmir society Khawaja Farooq Renzushah expressed his anguish by projecting 700 year old traditional Sufi festival of Gul-e-Lala at Sheeraz Garden of Hazrat Siraj ud Din Sheerazi RA simply as Tulip show in western way erazing its real sacred Sufi character.

He said that since arrival of Hazrat Bulbulshah RA in 1321 & Hazrat Amir kabir RA the entire Zabarwan hillocks & Takhat-e-Sulaiman & Koh-e-Marran mountains bloomed with Gul-e-Lala flowers .Later on Hazrat Siraj ud Din Sheerazi RA great Sufi saint of the area groomed Gul-e-Lala at Zabarwan pastures and dedicated 700 kanals of his Sheeraz Garden for Gul-e-Lala fragrant flowers .
He said that the real historical fact is that great Sufi saint Hazrat Sheikh ul Aalam also visited this place and said that fragrance of heaven is emerging from such heavenly abode.
He further added for last 700 years such places were dedicated for Gul-e-Lala flowers which were loved by all Awaliyas of the area since times immemorial.
Renzushah appealed all travel agencies of India and world to immediately end boycott Kashmir campaign particularly during current 40 days Gul-e-Lala festival.
Immediately after appeal the Mumbai tour operators withdrew Kashmir boycott call and advised all travel agencies of Mumbai to ensure tourist bookings for Kashmir during 40 days Gule lala (Tulip) festival at Sheeraz Bagh.
On this occasion Javid Ahmad Tota the renowned personality of Hazratbal, Jinab Feroz Ahmad renowned personality of Khanyar, Javid Ahmad Mir personality of Zadibal and other distinguished civil society members were present who expressed thanks to Mumbai tour operators. (PTK)
