SRINAGAR, (PTK): Government forces on Monday early morning launched a cordon and search operation in Goigam village of Tangmarg sub-divisor in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to reports reaching PTK, joint team of forces that include 2RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF on Monday morning cordoned off the village after getting specific inputs about presence of some militants in the area.

Heavy amount of security personnel are present in the area. All entries and exits have been sealed by the forces.
No exchange of fire has yet took place. Searches were on in the area when reports reached Media Group Press Trust of Kashmir. (PTK)
