‘We fully support security forces in process of eliminating militants’ Says Azad
SRINAGAR, (PTK): Senior Congress politician and Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad said that we fully support the security forces in the process of eliminating militants.
Azad, who was previously a senior minister in several union governments and chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), appreciated the army’s role in wiping out the scourge of militancy.
According to report published by Gulf News “We fully support the security forces in the process of eliminating militants both within the country and across the border. Congress has always stood by the nation and our army. We are quite proud of that fact.”
He added, “India has suffered immensely at the hands of militants for years. In the last three decades the people of J&K have suffered the most on account of militancy. Therefore any resolve against militancy by the government of India or army is most welcome,” he said. (PTK)
