SRINAGAR, (PTK): A 38-year-old woman died due to allegedly doctors negligence in South Kashmir’s Anantnag on Sunday.
Reports reaching to PTK said that a 38-year-old woman Rafiqa Banoo wife of Riyaz Ahmed Bhat resident of Manzmoh Qazigund Anantnag was admitted in the hospital late night on Saturday and passed away during the Night.
Muzamil Ahmad, a relative of deceased said that doctors at Janglat Mandi Hospital Anantnag allegedly ignored her condition as she was Tuberculosis (TB) patient and she left her two little children’s a boy and a girl.
The incident had triggered tension among the patients undergoing treatment in the hospital following the incident.
The family members of the deceased staged a protest demonstration inside the hospital campus today demanding immediate arrest and action against these doctors.
This is the second such allegation against the hospital in less than a month.
When PTK contacted Medical Superintendent Dr Abdul Majeed Mehrab he said that the patient was treated in a good way and the patient was over aged.
