BJP gears up for Lok Sabha polls in Kashmir, names of candidates forwarded to high command: Altaf Thakur

Srinagar, March 3 (PTK): Stating that the party was fully prepared for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Kashmir, Bhartiya Janata Party state spokesman Altaf Thakur today said three names from central Kashmir and North Kashmir parliamentary seats have been forwarded to party high command for a final call.

In a statement issued here, Thakur said that a meeting of district presidents and constituency presidents of Central Kashmir and North Kashmir parliamentary seats was held in Srinagar and Baramulla respectively.

He said there names from each constituency were chosen and were forwarded to party high command for final approval.

Thakur said that BJP will soon send the list of three candidates from South Kashmir stating that the party was going to contest on all three seats with full might to mark its win. (PTK)
