Srinagar: Former Commissioner Secretary Farooq Ahmad Shah Monday joined National Conference in presence of party president and former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah at party headquarters Nawa-e-Subuh complex in Srinagar.

Hailing from Tangmarg in northern Kashmir’s Baramulla district, Shah was secretary PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control and DMRRR, and had sought voluntary retirement from the service last week.

NC Vice President Omar Abdullah, Ali Muhammad Sagar and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion. (PTK)
