SRINAGAR, February 24: To pay homage and respect to martyr DySP Aman Kumar son of Swami Raj resident of Gogla district Doda, who attained martyrdom today while fighting militants at Turigam district Kulgam, a wreath laying ceremony was held for the martyr at District Police Lines, Srinagar.
Civil & Police Officers led by DGP J&K Police Dilbagh Singh-IPS, IGP Ops CRPF Zulfikar Hassan-IPS, Div Com Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan, IGP Kashmir S. P. Pani, IG CRPF Ravideep Sahai, Range DIsG, DC Srinagar Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains & paid rich tributes to the martyr for his supreme sacrifice made in the line of duty.
Among others who paid floral tributes to the martyr include senior officers of CAPF, SSP Srinagar Haseeb Mughal, SSP Security Imtiyaz Hussain, SSP SBK Showket Hussain Shah, SP Ganderbal Khalil Poswal, SSP Anti-high-jacking Srinagar Harmeet Singh, other officers and jawans of the district police and other forces.
Martyr DySP Aman Kumar is survived by aged parents, wife Sarla Devi and 6 year old son Arya. (PTK)
