Jammu arson and rioting: Curfew relaxed for 7 hours

SRINAGAR, (PTK): The authorities on Thursday decided to give deal in the curfew in every part of Jammu city after the improvement in law and order situation in the region.

Reports pouring in here from different areas of Jammu said that life has come back to normal and markets have witnessed heavy rush.

At some places, people were seen busy in buying daily need goods and other essentials.

The situation was reviewed on Wednesday and after observing improvement, the authorities decided to give more deal.

The improvement in law and order situation was clearly seen as no untoward incident happened in the district on Wednesday as deal in curfew was given almost whole day.

Meanwhile, Jammu reeled under curfew for almost six days as violence erupted in the region over the killing of almost 50 CRPF personnel in a deadly suicide attack.

Moreover, internet services were also restored in the city on Wednesday .

IGP Jammu warned rumours monger with saying strict action shall be taken against the people indulging in spreading rumours.
