Srinagar, (PTK): The government on Thursday ordered extension of winter vacations in Kashmir division and winter zone areas of Jammu .
In an order issue today , the government has extended winter vacations in all schools of Kashmir Valley and winter zone areas of Jammu region till 2nd March .

As 3-4 March are public holidays, schools will open on 5th March. However , teaching staff has been ordered to report on 25 February .
The extension of winter vacations has been ordered in view of bad weather conditions. Earlier the schools were supposed to open on 25th February.
On 18th February , Director Education sent a proposal about extension of vacations to Cheif Secretary. (PTK)
