Guwahati, (PTK): A youth was held on Tuesday after he raised “Pakistan zindabad” slogan at the Kamakhya temple in Guwahati.

A group of visitors caught the youth identified as Manoj Sinha after he raised “Pakistan zindabad” slogans at the Kamakhya temple. They charged him for promoting enmity and hurting the popular sentiments. Later, they handed over the youth to the police.
“We were informed that locals had caught a youth after he raised ‘Pakistan zindabad’ slogan at the Kamakhya temple. Immediately, a police team reached the spot and detained the youth. Locals alleged that the youth had made comments derogatory to the nation. A police investigation is going on,” an officer said. (PTK)
