JAMMU, SRINAGAR, (PTK): PDP leader and Member of legislative Council (MLC) Firdous Tak was booked for inciting people by addressing a group of them at sensitive Talab Khatikan area even as curfew was in force.
“A case under sections 188 and 419 CrPC was registered against Tak at Police Station Peer Mitha,” said SHO Sajjad Mir.
As per the details, residents of Talab Khatikan alleged that PDP MLC Tak had visited them and tried to incite them.
This infuriated the residents who rebuked the MLC for his provocations, saying they will not allow politicians to disturb peace. Sensing trouble, the MLC fled from the scene. (PTK)
