Pulwama shuts to mourn killing of Jaish militants

SRINAGAR, FEB 19 (PTK): The Pulwama district of south Kashmir observed a complete shutdown on third consecutive day against the killing of 3 Jaish-e-Mohammad militants and a civilian.

Eyewitness told PTK that all business establishments and educational institution are closed in the district while traffic movement also disturbed .

Reports of shutdown were received from many areas of district that include  Pingleena, Badibagh , Urichersoo etc .

Large numbers of people were seen visiting the home of slain Hilal Ahmad Naikoo.

Slain Hilal was laid to rest earlier this morning.

Pertinently, three Jaish-e-Mohammad militants, one civilian and 5 security personnel were killed in 18 hour long Gunbattle between militants and security forces. (PTK)
