Anantnag, (PTK): Five militants were killed in an encounter between government forces and militants at Keelam village in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
Source said that The slain militants have not yet identified .
Earlier, joint team of 9RR, SOG and CRPF had launched search operation in the village following the inputs about presence of militants the area.
Meanwhile reports of clashes between government forces and youths were also reported from encounter site. Government forces used teargas shells to disperse protesters. (PTK)
