SRINAGAR, (PTK): Due to heavy snowfall daily life has been disrupted in sub division Gool of Ramban District.
According to reports from last few days all road connectivity are not yet motor able due to snow on roads the main of Gool area of Ramban road also closed due to snow and land sliding on several places the adjoining areas.
However some area are still cut-off from headquarter more than fifty houses damaged due to snowfall in Gool.
Meanwhile district president PDP Ramban Shahbaz Mirza said that more than twenty transformers damaged and people of the plunged in to darkness due to lake of electricity from last fifteen to twenty days people of the area have taken up the issue with the concerned official several times but nothing in vain.
He further added “Water supply also affected in several places but the concerned department trying to make efforts to restore the water supply in whole area”.
Due to heavy snowfall orchards and fruit trees have been damaged people of subdivision Gool demanded that the teams may be constituted by the district administration to ascertain the loss of orchards of poor people.
People of the far flung areas alleged that patients are not able to reach sub District hospital Gool due to disconnected of link roads. People demanded to administration that connectivity of road may be restored immediately so that the patients can reach the hospitals.
District president PDP Ramban Shahbaz Mirza appeal the governor Sayta Pal Malik to compensate the huge loss of property of poor people of sub division Gool.
He also appealed district administration to start helicopter service to far flung areas of sub division Gool so that the patients can be airlifted to Jammu for treatment. (PTK)
