Sentry fires in air after observing suspicious movement near Police station in Kulgam

Kulgam, 29 Jan (PTK): A sentry at Yaripora Police Station in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday evening fired few rounds in the air after noticing some suspicious movement near the police station.

A  police official said that at around 7:47 pm a Police sentry in Yaripora village fired several shots in the air after observing some suspicious movement around the facility.

A local resident, however, told that the firing lasted for several minutes and caused panic among the residents. (PTK)
