Wayil bridge repairs: Traffic police issues advisory for motorists

In order to strengthen the Wayil Bailey Bridge, repair work shall be carried out by the executing agency w.e.f 29.01.2019 which will continue for about 12 days. In order to ensure smooth vehicular movement, following traffic advisory is issued for the general public especially for the people of district Ganderbal:-

i) Motorists intending to travel from Kangan to Srinagar shall adopt the following route;
Kangan > Manigam > Lar > Wahidpora > Kheerbawani > Tawheed chowk > Beehama.

ii) Motorists intending to travel from Srinagar towards Kangan Shall adopt the following route;
Beehama > Tawheed Chowk > Kheerbhawani > Repora or Barsoo to NHW further towards Manigam.

iii) People who intend to travel to South/North Kashmir or Central Kashmir (Budgam district) from Kangan shall travel via Manigam, Sumbal-Parimpora route and Vice-versa
