SRINAGAR, (PTK): The bodies of a two hunters, who went missing during an avalanche yesterday in forests of Lolab valley in North Kashmir’s kupwara district, has been traced by the rescue teams. Three hunters were moving in different belts of Zabli, top of the forest in Lolab for hunting when they swept away by avalanche.
Among the three one hunter namely Abdul Rashid Hajam returned home and informed police and civil administration about the incident.
On Thursday morning A rescue team comprising of Police,Army’s 18RR and Locals rushed towards the spot and started rescue operation in the area.
SSP Kupwara Shriram Ambarker Dinker told PTK that the bodies of two hunters identified as Mohammad din hajam and Bashir Ahmed hajam both residents of rang warnow Zabli Lolab has been traced and are being recovered. (PTK)
