SRINAGAR, January 17 (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League has welcomed the release of the resistance leader, Mushtaq-ul-Islam from Haryana jail.
According to the statement issued to PTK, the spokesperson said a delegation of Peoples League Comprising Party Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza,Nisar Ah Rather,Fayaz Bhat and Shabbir Nanwai visited the residence of Islam and inquired about his health. The delegation also expressed solidarity with the leader and saluted his sacrifices given by him for Kashmir Movement.Senior Hurriyat Leader and JKLF(H) chairman Javaid Ahmad Mir was also present there.
Further, JKPL Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on occasion has urged for the release of all political prisoners of Kashmir languishing in different Jails in and outside valley. (PTK)
