Kashmir’s historical background cannot be ignored: Mukhtar Waza

SRINAGAR: January 15 (PTK): Senior APHC Leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Mukhtar Ahmad Waza have said that Kashmir dispute has historical background and context which cannot be ignored.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza said this while addressing people at Rajpora area of Pulwama. He, said that dealing Kashmir dispute militarily and adopting iron-fist policy by India is not going to break the resolve of the Kashmiri people, spokesman said.

Earlier, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza along with party delegation visited the Rajpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama, where he condoled the demise of J&K Electrical Employees Union President Abdul Salam Rajpuri who died yesterday due to massive heart attack.

Mukhtar Waza on occasion while paying tributes to Ab Salam said, deceased was a noble soul and affectionate human being and an inspirational freedom lover, who earlier while being affiliated with Peoples League served four years of his life in different Jails.

Waza prayed for the peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear this tragic loss. (PTK)
