Islamabad, Jan 08 (PTK): Police on Tuesday arrested Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and put him under detention in Islamabad.
Party Spokesman has condemned the arrest of party chairman and termed it as sheer political vendetta.

Meanwhile Mukhtar Ahmad Waza has paid rich tributes to Sajad Kanue of Mattan Adda Locality of Islamabad Town on his 23 martyrdom anniversary, who was killed in a joint operation by STF and Ikhwan gunmen on this day in 1996 at Srinagar.
Incarcerated party chairman While paying tributes to Sajad Kanue, described him as ‘pious freedom fighter who laid down his life for a just cause. He also prayed for his higher place in Jannah.
