SRINAGAR, JAN 03 (PTK): A high level delegation of JK SSA Teachers Association leads by Chairman Shah Fayaz on the behest of immaculate Chairman TJAC Mr. Abdul Qayoom Wani called by Worthy Director School Education Dr. G. N Itoo in his office chamber following a thread-bare discussion pertaining to issues confronting the SSA teachers since long. The menu of issues put forth before the August table of DSEK are indicated below:
Regularisation of regularised SSA teachers who have satisfactorily completed initial five years of service.
Consideration of D.Ed course instead of three-year graduation course in favour of under-graduate SSA teachers.
Disbursement of one month’s additional salary @ 7th PC infavour of SSA/RMSA & Head teachers who have rendered their duties in the recently finished Panchayat & Municipal Elections.
Resumption & speedy disposal of IN-SITU promotions of SSA teachers.
Filling-up of vacant posts of ZEO’s in different zones wherever applicable.
Disbursement of outstanding salaries of last four months.
7.Departmental promotions on provisional basis.
The DSEK listened the delegation quite compassionately & took active cognizance of the afore captioned menu of issues & assured the delegation that process of regularization will be resumed soon after the clarification & concurrence from administrative department for creation of posts & pending salaries of past four months will be released soon after the publication of SRO related to 7th PC & absorption in state budget & the directorate is actively considering all the issues of SSA teachers on its merits its & will resolve all prevailing issues on war-footing basis after going through a prescribed code of formal procedure.
The delegation hailed the work of DSEK Dr. G.N Itoo in bringing unprecedented hike & touching the much-awaited milepost in the earlier declared results of class 10th.The Chairman JKSSATA Shah Fayaz heart fully lauded the reminiscent efforts of Worthy Advisor Khursheed Ahmad Ganie & legendary Chairman TJAC Mr. Abdul Qayoom Wani for their sympathetic & nail-biting ingression in resolving the prolonged issues of SSA teachers i,e implementation of 7th PC & delinking of salaries from MHRD to state budget. Chairman Shah Fayaz sternly urged the authorities at the helm of affairs to publicise the SRO instantly & release the payable salaries of past four months with utmost preference.
