Jammu, December 31: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and former MLC G N Monga today condoled the demise of Sajad Ahmad Shah, brother-in-law of senior Congress leader and former Union minister Saifuddin Soz and Prof (Dr) O.N. Wakhloo, husband of Senior Congress leader Khemlata Wakhloo.
In a condolence message to Wakhloo family he said, “Late O.N. Wakhloo had to suffer during the initial years of militancy and despite his abduction, he and his family didn’t leave Kashmir. He was a secular person and had earned name in the field of engineering research. He had profoundly worked for the regional engineering college.”
In his condolence message to Soz sahib and his bereaved family, Monga said, “Sajad Ahmad Shah originally belonged to a renowned family from Khanpora, Baramulla. He was now settled at Humahama, Srinagar. He was a noble person.”
