Srinagar, December 19 (PTK): Condemning what he termed as deplorable behaviour of Deputy Mayor Sheikh Imran who has reportedly misbehaved with the doctors, Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Wednesday said that he should remain stick to his domain.
DAK president, Dr Suhail Naik while talking to said that such interference is a common phenomenon and “we warn them to mind their own work. The hospitals are working round the clock through every situation.”
“He should have learned morals before talking to a doctor. It doesn’t seem that he has taken education from a foreign country. We want to tell him to learn from Rural educational institute so that he can get some manners to behave with doctors, ” he said while condemning his behaviour.
“It is not SMC that is paying us; we are being paid through the taxes of people. He should return the money that he owes the bank, rather than telling doctors that he is paying them,” he said.
Meanwhile Society of Dental Surgeons J&K (SDSJK) has also strongly condemned the deplorable behaviour of Deputy Mayor Srinagar who has surpassed his service domain and was blatant indecent in his approach while on a political stint show yesterday night at CD Hospital Srinagar.
President SDSJK Dr Imtyaz Banday has appealed the Hon’ble Governor Shri Satya Pal Malik to kindly intervene in this matter as in what capacity he inspected the hospital. His primary job is to look for sanitation and beautification of city but to gain political mileage he has targeted the doctors in full glare just to gain some political attention.His approach was totally uncalled for and humiliated the doctors by his rude and unparliamentarian behaviour.
It is pertinent to mention here that the doctors across state and in particular valley are doing tremendous job against all odds that has been acknowledged by state & nationally.
The inhuman & unacceptable behaviour shown by the Deputy Mayor against the doctors who are already overburdened & taxed clearly depicts that the state machinery doesn’t run as per the rules and any body can ride it for its vested interests.
SDSJK appeals the Hon’ble Governor to intervene at the earliest and take strong action against the Deputy Mayor.
SDSJK also stresses the Principal GMC Srinagar & Medical Superintendent CD Hospital to formally lodge FIR immediately against the Deputy Mayor so that he is booked for his unethical,illegal & rogue behaviour.
