SRINAGAR, DEC 17 (PTK): Two day workshop of BJYM held in Delhi concluded today which was attended by all the District Presidents and state presidents of whole country. The aim of the workshop was to gear the karykartas and charting the strategy for coming Lok Sabha Elections.
During the first day of workshop Er Aijaz Hussian from Kashmir welcomed Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha National President Poonam Mahajan in the program .
Speaking during the workshop BJYM National President Poonam Mahajan said “killings and threats to BJP workers in Kashmir can’t deter them to work for betterment of Kashmir”. She added that by killing BJP worker in the valley has strengthened the resolve of our karykartas to work for the nation building.
Addressing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha workers, she said the youth wing of the BJP should ensure the party again forms the government at the Centre and state under the “dynamic and able leadership” of the prime minister.
Poonam Mahajan presided over the workshop and the strategy for coming elections of Lak Sabha where charted out during the two day meet. She said the BJYM will carry out campaigns at the grassroots level and will ensure that Narendra Modi is elected as PM in 2019.
The concluding session was attended by National President BJP Amit Shah who emphasised his faith on Yuva morcha and said that they have faith in youths of the country and it is the youths who made the BJP the single largest party in the country. He further added that youth team of BJP is working day and night in all the states and this will bear the fruits in coming elections.
The two day sessions where attended by top brass of BJP including Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, besides the key party strategist BJP General Secretary Org Ram Lal and General Secretaries Bupinder Yadav and Murlidhar Rao.
If sources are to be believed , BJP will field ER Aijaz Hussain from Srinagar Parliamentary seat against Ex CM Farooq Abdullah , who happens to be from Shia Community and BJP is eyeing the votes of the community. (PTK)
