Srinagar, (PTK): Four more civilian have been killed during clashes with government forces in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama taking the civilian death toll to six and overall death toll to 9 including 3 militants.
Eyewitnesses said that government forces fired indiscriminately at the civilians who were protesting the killings of three local militants in a gunfight earlier in Kharpora village of the district.
According to the report of Kashmir reader that four more dead bodies were received at the hospital. “All the four were declared brought dead,” they said.
Doctors identified the slain civilians as Suhail Ahmad of Bellow, Shahnawaz of Monghama, Liyaqat of Parigam, Abid Ahmad of Kareemabad, Amir Ahmad of Ashmandar and Aqib Ahmad of Prichoo Pulwama.
Earlier, two civilians were killed in the clashes with government forces near the gunfight site. (PTK)
