Srinagar, Dec 12 (PTK): BJP State spokesman Altaf Thakur today visited many areas of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and met various officials to take stock of various developmental initiatives in the area.
He asked the officials including Block Development Officer (BDO) to speed up the pace of work on various projects that includes construction of roads, laying of water pipes, repairing the electricity lines, poles and streamlining the transport services in the areas.
Thakur, who was recently elected as the Sarpanch for the Dadsar area of Tral, visited Noorpora, Dadsar and Chandirgam where he met people to get the first-hand account of the problems faced by the people. People complained of lack of electricity, transformers and power poles in the Tral areas and sought immediate rederssal of the grievances.
Thakur assured the people of Noorpora, Dadsar and Chandirgam that they problems will be resolved on priority basis. He directed the BDO to take the issues confronting the people of Tral on priority and address them within a fixed time frame.
The BJP state spokesman also explained the people that BJP’s sole motive was development of Kashmir and he as a BJP member will be taking personal interest in resolved the developmental issues of the people of Tral.
