Monga pays tributes to Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah on his 113th birth anniversary

Jammu, December 5: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and MLC G N Monga Tuesday paid rich tribute to National Conference founder Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah on his 113th birth anniversary.
In a statement issued to PTK, Monga recalled the significant contributions of late Sheikh Abdullah made to develop the state. “There could be political and ideological differences with late Sheikh sahib. But his contributions as a social reformer who fought for the rights of the oppressed sections irrespective of caste, creed or religion are immense. He always strived for the sustenance of secular and pluralistic values.”
“Late Sheikh sahib was as a visionary leader who would always be remembered for taking many revolutionary steps including introduction of land reforms in the State,” he added.
