SRINAGAR, NOV 30 (PTK): Karwani-Islami patron Alama Ghulam Rasool Hami while people of Kashmir to follow the foot prints of beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) stressed that there is a dire need of rooting out the growing menace of drug and liquor use in Kashmir as young generation was falling prey to it at an alarming rate.
Alama Hami also led a massive Milad Rally at Central Jamia Masjid Bandipora soon after the congregational Friday prayers. Amid pro-Islam and Pro-Prophet Muhammad (SAW) slogans, the rally later passed from various areas and culminated peacefully.
Alama Hami said that at a time when Kashmir is witnessed bloodbath on one hand on daily basis, the major challenge on the other hand is the growing consumption of liquor and other drugs among the youth, who are fast falling prey to this menace. He urged people to stand up and to unite so that this menace is eliminated from the society for which revered saints have spilled their blood and sweat to spread world’s greatest religion, Islam.
Alama Hami also urged people to follow the teachings of great prophet (SAW) in true letter and spirit and to place Prophet’s law in the hearts and minds for the success here and hereafter. (PTK)
