MeT predicts snow, rainfall till Friday

SRINAGAR, (PTK): The meteorological  department on Thursday predicted rain in plains and snowfall in the upper areas of the Kashmir valley for the next 24 hours.

MeT said that in higher reaches there are chances for snowfall while in the plains, rainfall may start in next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, minimum temperature in Srinagar was recorded as1.8 degree Celsius while it was minus 3 in both Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Kargil froze at minus 7.8 degree Celsius —  while Leh recorded minus 6.4 degree Celsius.
