Governor should watch activities of vested elements: Shaheen
Jammu, Nov 15 (PTK): Janta Dal United (JDU) led by its state President G M Shaheen and Jammu Provincial President Nigesh Samral today inaugurated its new party office at Last Morh near Laxmi Narayanan Mandir, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
Shaheen while addressing the media appreciated the role of Governor in conducting ULB polls in a transparent manner. He further said these elections will not boost the general population but to give them their fundamental right for development of the state as well. He added that these elections will also helping the nation as well as the state of J&K to bring peaceful atmosphere which it had in the state before 1990.
Taking a dig on vested interest elements for trying to create communal like situation in J&K, Shaheen said, “State administration should allow such seminars and event in the state who are trying to create communal like atmosphere in the Jammu region which is need of the hour not to overlook such activities of some vested interest elements active in the state who want to divide the people on religion, and communal basis.”
He further appreciated the candidates who won in their respective places of the Jammu and Kashmir State and asked the workers to strength the party which is committed to provide justice to the people of the state.
Earlier, in the morning, Shaheen along with other party leaders visited the Jagti Kashmiri Pandit Township Nagrota to take stock of issues and problems being faced by the migrant community who are still deprived of their basic facilities including fundamental rights since turmoil. He assured the KP community to take up the issues with Governor SP Malik tomorrow.
Mukesh Gupta and Mohammad Shafi State Secretaries, Vice President Garish Mahajan and others were also present on the occasion.
